Sportrack SR5513 Folding Kayak Rack

Reclaim roof space without leaving your kayak behind. The Sportrack SR5513 Folding Kayak Rack is the J-style carrier that holds your kayak securely on its side, then folds flat when you're off the water.

• Folding Design: Upright arm folds down after unloading to reduce wind resistance and improve fuel economy on your drive home.
• Oversized Padding: Heavy-duty cushioning protects your hull from scratches and pressure dings during transport.
• Complete Tie-Down System: Includes load straps and bow/stern tie-downs so your kayak stays locked in place at highway speeds.

The Sportrack SR5513 turns your existing roof rack into a dedicated kayak transport system without sacrificing daily clearance. The J-cradle holds your kayak stable and aerodynamic on its side, keeping your roof profile low. When you're back from the lake, simply fold the arm down and drive on with better clearance for garage doors and parking structures. Heavy-duty steel construction ensures this rack handles everything from lightweight recreational kayaks to touring boats.
