Thule 895 DockGrip Kayak Rack - 895001

Stop worrying about hull damage. The Thule 895 DockGrip Kayak Rack is the horizontal kayak carrier with large cushioned pads that conform to virtually any hull shape—from rounded touring kayaks to flat-bottomed SUPs.

• Flexible Cushioned Pads: Large, conforming pads mold to your hull's unique shape, protecting gelcoat and preventing pressure points.
• Multi-Sport Versatility: Carries kayaks and stand-up paddleboards equally well, eliminating the need for separate racks.
• Horizontal Loading: Simple side-loading design makes it easy to get your boat on the roof without overhead lifting.

The Thule DockGrip solves the fundamental kayak transport challenge: how to safely carry boats with wildly different hull profiles. Its adaptive padding system flexes to match your specific hull, whether you're hauling a sleek sea kayak or a wide recreational boat. The same pads that cradle your kayak also accommodate the flat profile of a paddleboard, making this one of the most versatile carriers in the Thule lineup.
